Ishaq Hassan is a senior full-stack software engineer based in Pakistan with 13+ years of professional experience. He is a Flutter Framework Contributor with ten pull requests merged across the official Flutter ecosystem (flutter/flutter and flutter/devtools) and two more currently open, making him one of a handful of South Asian engineers contributing at the framework level. He is also listed by name in the official Flutter AUTHORS file, credited among the Flutter project’s contributors and one of the very few Pakistani engineers on that list.

Professionally he is Engineering Manager at DigitalHire (since May 2024), where he leads mobile and platform engineering. Prior roles span Confiz, Tech Idara, Afiniti, and independent consulting. Over the years he has shipped 50+ production apps on iOS, Android and web.

Beyond code, Ishaq created a 35-video Urdu-language Flutter course that is listed on the official Flutter documentation. He originally taught this course in person at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Karachi across 35 sessions from January to June 2022, and those session recordings became the published course. He has spoken at GDG Kolachi, Iqra University, DevnCode and multiple community events, and authored 7 Medium articles covering Dart isolates, Flutter's three-tree architecture, Firebase Cloud Functions, and native plugin development.
